Purpose
Punjabi Samvad uses its authority, funds and assets for its registered charitable objectives. This policy assigns oversight duties and records how the organisation makes significant decisions.
Governing Body duties
- Approve strategy, annual plans and budgets.
- Review programme performance, finance, safeguarding and major risks.
- Monitor statutory filings, registrations and donor obligations.
- Oversee senior leadership and conflicts of interest.
- Record decisions, owners and follow-up dates in meeting minutes.
Accountability
Punjabi Samvad keeps records that allow the Governing Body, auditors, donors and regulators to review its decisions and use of funds. The organisation corrects identified control failures and records the action taken.
